Citrine is a wonderful stone that I've been very attracted to lately, and it is no wonder with the properties it possesses. It is a mineral of the Quartz family and it is a crystal of happiness and abundance, as well as a list of many other things.

Healing

Citrine is sometimes used by healers to help with digestion because it is considered beneficial to the endocrine and digestive system. It cleanses, purifies and eliminates poisons that have built up in those areas. Citrine is also an excellent stone to calm and soothe distressed conditions. It is a stone of happiness and some use it to help relieve depression as it gives joy and love to the owner. Citrine can even be used to help keep skin, nails, and hair healthy, and is good for relieving skin irritations and allergies, especially those caused by food or chemical intolerances.

Chakra

Citrine's natural yellow and gold radiance energizes the Solar Plexus and Navel Chakras, activating and opening them. It helps to direct personal power, creativity, and intelligent decisiveness to enhance the physical body. Its foremost energy is to aid in manifestation. Crystal Love | Fluorite

This beautiful mineral usually forms in cube shapes. Fluorite can range from beautiful greens, to wonderful deep purples. Many stones even have a mixture of the two! Fluorite has been calling to my eye lately, and I can never get enough of its refreshing feeling.

Healing

Physically, Fluorite is known to strengthen bones and teeth, and ameliorate the pain associated with arthritis.  It is also used to enhance mental functions by balancing the chemistry in the brain.
(This stone is a also a great one for students because it also helps with retaining information.) Healers use it to help with ulcers as well as the respiratory tract by stimulating cell regeneration in these areas. It can be laid directly on the body.

This stone brings order to both chaos and disorganization not only in ones environment, but also the physical, emotional and mental bodies as well as the energy.

Fluorite may be used with other stones. It helps to open the way for the power of other stones to be effective. It can be used as a meditation stone to help energize the body and raise the power of concentration.

Chakra

When working with the upper Chakras, Fluorite increases intuitive abilities, links the human mind to universal consciousness, and develops connection to Spirit.

Use Green Fluorite to cleanse and renew the chakras which can be a wonderful healing piece.

Crystal Love | Dioptase

This beautiful mineral is a brilliant emerald green color. I always admire pieces of it at the local natural history museum. ☺ But this stone isn't only beautiful, it's helpful in healing the heart as well.

Healing
Dioptase supports the heart and  is a powerful stone for women who have been in abusive relationships or who have unresolved traumas from this time in their life. This stone is also a forgiving stone. It aids in forgiving another who has wronged or hurt you, helping you move forward in your life. It aids in healing emotional wounds. This forgiveness is not an acceptance of what has occurred, but a release to prevent it from happening again.

It also helps heal sadness/heartache, providing a new outlook on the present, and increasing self-love so you may move on to the future.

Dioptase can also be used to help relieve the effects of heart disease. It is also very effective in directing healing energy to Mother Earth.

Chakra
Dioptase is a powerful stone for aligning your chakras, and most importantly, opening the heart chakra. Aiding you by its energy, it balances your yin-yang energy.

Protection
Dioptase can be used by healers to protect themselves from empathic absorption of their patient's symptoms.

Clear Quartz is one of my favorite crystals, and thankfully, it is the most abundant mineral on the planet. It shines ever so brilliantly in the sun, and I could stare at it for hours. Clear Quartz has countless uses and is most often referred to as, "The Master Healer."

Crystal Love | Amethyst

Ah, beautiful Amethyst. This wonderful purple stone is a variety of the Quartz family and is the birth stone for those born in February (lucky!)  The name comes from the Greek meaning "without drunkenness" and it is believed to protect one from poison. Amethyst has many uses, from healing to protection.

HealingThis stone has the power to focus energy and thus is worn by many healers. Amethyst is used for problems in the blood and in breathing problems. Amethyst crystal clusters are used to keep the air and life force in the home clean and positive. Amethyst clusters, points or several tumbled Amethysts placed in a window that receives sun most of the day are very beneficial to use in healing and to heal negativity in the home, but the downside of this is that Amethyst can fade very quickly in sunlight. But, place Amethyst clusters, points or several tumbled Amethysts in moonlight and everyone in the home will be feeling calmer. Using an Amethyst as a meditation focus will increase the positive spiritual feelings. Amethyst helps overcome fears and cravings. It also helps relieve headaches.

Chakra
Amethyst is related to and found to heal and align ailments of the the 6th and 7th Chakras, which are the Third Eye or Brow (6th) and the Crown (7th). Amethyst aides the 6th Chakra, Third Eye, by opening and heighten awareness, both spiritual and psychic. Its calming qualities help to awaken and ease stress in this area. It helps to also heighten perspective and allows development of strong introspection (inner-self view). It's tranquil sobering effect allows those who are energetic to relax. It also is a cure for insomnia and nightmares and makes the intuition sensitive to understanding that outside of scientific reasoning.

Protection Ancient Egyptians used the amethyst guard against guilty and fearful feelings. It has been worn as protection from self-deception, as well as a protection against witchcraft. The amethyst has long been used to open the spiritual and psychic centers, making it one of the power stones. It is also used as a meditation aid when worn as a necklace.
