US National Park Service Turns 100

arches national park the wanderful soul

Today, the US National Park Service turns 100 years old! On this day in 1916, President Woodrow Wilson signed the act creating a new federal bureau responsible for protecting 35 beautiful national parks and monuments. The United States now
has 59 incredible national parks and so much beauty has been preserved thanks to this service.

To commemorate this wonderful service, I thought I would post some photos of the wonderful parks that I've had the chance to visit. So far, I have only visited 3 (and driven past my fair share,) but they're all on my list of places to see! Below are some of my favorite shots from Arches, The Grand Canyon, and Zion National Park. Enjoy!
