With winter continuously hitting us at full blast this year, I thought I'd throw together a list of top 5 resorts I'd love to cozy up in to enjoy the
winter weather, instead of dream of summer all season long. So here's a list of 5 amazing places you can stay in to turn this season into a5) Evergreen Lodge
This woodland cabin is just 1 mile from Yosemite National Park's western border and nestled in it's own lodge village spanning over 20 acres. With guided hikes, and activities, this lodge is perfect to enjoy Yosemite's natural beauty.

4) Far Meadow
This quaint little A-frame cabin sits on twenty acres of private land 7,500 feet above Bass Lake in the High Sierras, just 12 miles away from Yosemite National Park. During winter, it can only be reached with a guide by snowmobile, making the journey as exciting as your stay.

3) Treehotel
Hanging in the pine trees in Sweden are 6 treehouses, all so beautifully unique to one another. The Mirrorcube is perfectly hidden in the winter as the walls mirror the white sky & ground. Not only can you stay in an amazing treehouse (even a UFO treehouse!) but you Treehotel offers plenty of activities surrounding the property as well. You may even get to view the northern lights while you're there.

2) Whitepod Eco Alpine Resort
This ecological conservation resort in Valais, Switzerland is a great place to stay as it has a low impact on the beautiful environment around it. Sleep in a mountainside pod, heated by a wood burning stove, and enjoy the silent views around you. Many snow-filled activities are available at the resort like skiing, dogsledding, hiking, and more.

1) Kakslauttanen Igloo Village
Number 1 on my list has to go to this beautiful glass igloo village hideaway in Finland. Here, you can stay in a heated igloo and sleep beneath the stars, secluded in wilderness. Hear the soft patter of snowfall as you watch the northern lights above in one of the best places to view them in the world.
